At the step into fall feis today. Great feis. Well done.

Ran into this Krazy-Karen, thinks she’s god’s gift to parenting. First she decides she is just going to pep-talk my son, unsolicited. He doesn’t take well to that. It was an obvious and very lame attempt at some stupid mind game against him as a competitor. He just laughed it off. Then, as luck would have it, but not entirely unexpected, his shoes broke. We knew it was coming but the new ones haven’t arrived. We could buy new on the spot but our TC discourages competing in shoes that are not broken-in for safety sake. That’s where Karen comes out in all her glory. This complete stranger proceedes to lecture us anout what terrible parents we are for letting him not dance. She’s such a great parent her child would NEVER even suggest such a thing. Really made quite the show of herself for all around to see. I’m legit worried we might find ourselves on YouTube or Tik-Tok.

Then her dancer gets up and stumbles his way through his dance like yogi bear in hard shoes.

We are going to be laughing about her all day!
