Subject: 2nd Spectator

Mom of two Dancers

We are attending Oirechtas, but each of my children are dancing on different days. I have asked on the NEO FB page, but not received an answer. My children are u8 and u13, do they count as their siblings spectator? I cannot realistically leave my 8 yo on the hotel room alone, but I also would like my husband or mother to come with me to help with the other kiddo. Any ideas?

They will each be the second spectator for each other, so both girls will be with me at all times. I am not bringing my husband.

the information on the Covid waiver says the following:
COVID WAIVER INFORMATION â—ï¸
-Signed waivers must be handed in at check-in, at which time dancers will receive their competitor numbers, three bracelets (dancer plus two spectators) and 2021 New England Oireachtas patches.
-Dancers will receive bracelets for ONLY the number of spectators who have signed the waiver.
-Parents with more than one dancer will need to fill out a waiver for each dancer

So if each dancer needs their own waiver and gets their own bracelet plus 2 spectators, IF they are on the same day then it seems that dancer A could have a dancer bracelet and mom and dad (or grandma) as 2 spectators, and dancer B off the other waiver could have a dancer bracelet and mom and whomever as spectators. Doesn't work if they're on different days, but reading how the guidelines are written this seems like it would work

[> Subject: This question was answered directly on the Oireachtas FB page by one of the organizers. Bottom line--siblings count as one of two spectators.
