Subject: Grades Dancers

Are there just fewer grades dancers enrolled in classes or are the feis fees just so high that they don't compete as often. Noticed the numbers at recent competitions are pretty low compared to what they were pre-covid. Since then the feis fees have skyrocketed as well.

I think a lot of grades dancers quit during virtual lessons: zoom dance class just isn't as engaging if you aren't already super passionate about ID. Beginner class sizes are going back up thanks to being able to do performances again, but I know that a lot of parents and dancers just don't care about competing and are there for the cultural/exercise aspects.
