Honestly think it’s a bit ridiculous to spend $150+ on hair and make-up for a feis, especially when it is now becoming more acceptable to go wigless and wear blacks. I get majors where they are bright lights and qualifications are on the line, but even then it’s a bit over the top. Hopefully we will see a full ban on wigs in the near future so people can concentrate on what’s really important . . . the dancing! -- New England Irish Dancers
