Had fun, made new friends from out of area! Subject: A Big thank you to the Horgan feis for a wonderful day. What wonderful volunteers! The feis was in a perfect spot. Something for everyone. ... Awards were done at a seperate stage to keep the flow going. Plenyt of games too! There was even an acarde for those are into that type of thing! Plus the stage was covered which for an outdorr feis was a blessing in itself. ... I would definely reccomend this feis next year to everyone! Thank you Horgan school/ feis commitee.

Parking was great ( unlike other feis we attended) There was plenty of food vendors. Cute place and the scenery was outstanding! Beach was beautiful. Awards were done at a seperate stage to keep the flow going. Plenyt of games too! There was even an acarde for those are into that type of thing! Plus the stage was covered which for an outdorr feis was a blessing in itself. the $30 per car load for the rides was a bargin ( we brought 6 people including 2 dancers) who after they danced etc went on almost every ride. Great job to the Horgan School for the feis. I just was wondering had it begun to rain where would the dancers be dancing for it was all open to the weather does anyone know where it would be held? The Sheraton Myrtle Beach has extended the room block for the Carolina Coast feis, the feis rate of 119.00 is now available until September 8th, 2008. Pretty sure rest is only safe solution - high impact activities during rapid growth dangerous! In order to get a recall at a major, a dancer has to dance both heavy and light. Two round feiseanna aren't giving the open dancers the opportunity to practice/show 50% of what's needed to recall. With gas prices, etc., we have to pick and choose. I'm going to choose three-round feiseanna. Regretfully, we will be skipping some of the well-run, fun, local feiseanna that offer only two rounds. I took my daughter to Children's Hoispital; Boston--she also did ice, motrin, rest--no other impact sports (no skating, etc) lots of PT and strengthening--she did the exercises 4 x per week at the YMCA first with a sports trainer, then with me. I believe they are now called the Bracken School but they are still operating in the Newburyport area. According to the info on the NEIDR link at the top of the page, their email address is Duffin-Murphy@comcast.net. I don't know if that's still a valid email address but you could post on their school message board (voy 15725) and I am sure someone would contact you. Very nice school. According to their website this info will be posted later. The feis doesn't close until Oct 8 so there is plenty of time.
