The Kelly-Oster School is helping the Cortesi Family to plan a memorial for Kelly on Saturday 7/26 in Putnam Valley from 2-9 PM. Kelly's mom would love to have an "Irish Session." If anyone is interested in attending to donate service and play some traditional Irish music, please contact Karyn Oster at KellyOsterNY@aol.com. We will be setting up a memorial fund to help cover costs of the expenses of Kelly's hospital bills and funeral services. As well as to start up a scholarship in her name for Irish dancers. Donations came be made to The Kelly Oster School: Kelly Cortesi Fund and mailed to PO BOX 15, Brewster, NY 10509
Kelly's organs were donated and her family has received word that at least 4 recipients have received transplants so far. Sometimes it is hard to cope with the loss of life at such a young age, but just maybe we can find comfort in knowing that Kelly's life did have a purpose here on earth, if not for the joy she brought to us, but for the life saving gift she was able to give to those other 4 people.
