I also had to tell a significant other about my HEP-C and he FREAKED OUT! Now we are doing the "friends" thing too. We broke up over a complete lack of relationship once he started treatment. I was there for him in every way that he would let me be but he seemed to just want his space. If he has given anyone out there the impression we broke up over his HEP C diagnosis that is totally wrong. I had no fear of contracting the disease because we were careful. I just wanted to clear that up and I think your significant other is totally slack. Pat
