You should get tested anyway. If you did contract the disease, it's not gonna show up for a while. And it might not ever show up. I contracted this disease in 1988, I have always had it since then but I didnt start showing symptoms until just last year. I know some people who have the disease in their blood, but have no symptoms or liver damage because of it and they may never.
