I thought I would faint when I found out hepc. It has been around 7 years now and I am still alive. Tired, I tried the pegasys and the side effects were horrible for me. Ended up getting divorced because my husband didn't want the burden of caring for me. Nice, eh? That is o.k. I'm also on a liver transplant list for cirhossis but it hasn't slowed me down. I went skydiving yesterday, and celebrate the joy of living. It took me a while to get to this point of acceptance, the not knowing, the fear of rejection from friends and family, the lonliness that no one understands what we are feeling. Be patient. They have no clue and are just as afraid, not only for us, but for them also. Research as much as you can about hepc. Take care, let me know what you are up to.
