My puppy did this too when I went to visit my parents who have a 6 year old schnauzer. It was especially funny when someone came in the door and the older dog went dashing for the door, and Zoe, in hot pursuit, did not realize that you have to turn down the hallway--she kept going straight into the kitchen, and got confused :)
