I watched Ill, Texas and NewYork's State Pageant production. They have a large prize packet and better stage production. I saw WI, Iowa, Montana, Wy. and Organ and the production was poor and prize packet was very, very poor. It this based on the Director how each State Pageant is ran. This is so unfair, because girls engage in all of that hard work, then win a very poor prize packet. I hear WI. Queens have to work for some of their prizes, and Organ gets nothing but gift certificates for a few hundred dollars off of things. How awful is this.

We're looking for Teen, Miss, Ms., or Mrs. pageant winners, runners-up or "Swimsuit Winners at the STATE LEVEL OR HIGHER who wore a Lady M swimsuit during competition -- either you wore a Lady M swimsuit and won the title OR wore a Lady M swimsuit and won the Swimsuit Competition.
It's not necessary for you to have WON or placed at the pageant BOTH the PAGEANT AND the Swimsuit Competition, just that you wore a Lady M when you competed and won.
OR if you know someone who won a state or national pageant or state or national swimsuit competition, wearing a Lady M, please ask them to contact us!

For those who have not seen Miss USA 2006, Tara Elizabeth Conner select her Miss Universe competition evening gown, you can on this repeat airing of Project Runway. The one-hour show is airing now in fact (sorry for sudden notice) on cable's BRAVO network from 2 pm Easter/1 pm Central to 2/3pm. The next following five hours are the next episodes in order. So tune to BRAVO now in time to see Tara pick her gown (if you see this posting now you can at least see the second half of this program on Tara and designer Kayne).
PS-it will also reair on Sept. 27 at 1 pm/noon Central time on BRAVO.

I really hate that Miss Wisconsin did not make the top 15, she was just beautiful. As a parent I would have been very angry if I was her mother that she did not make at least top 15. She was very friendly and presented herself very well. The judges really missed out on this one, matter of fact, who was judging this pagenant some idiots?

Katie Blair was not my choice , but I am getting use to her. She is a beautiful girl and I think now looking back she was the right choice. She is teen material yet exudes confidence and seems like she has alot of culture. She speaks well and is personable , I think she will handle the job well , and was definitely the best choice.
Iam from the state of NJ so of course I was rooting for Julianna , however I was not impressed with how she carried herself. Beautiful girl but seemed to lack confidence in her self . She seemed so surprized that she was there as if she did not believe in herself as her expressions and the way she carried herself showed it. She made some silly faces on stage and seemed scared . With some more work I think she could win an event like this in the future!

I've already voiced my displeasure at the way the pageant is nowadays as compared to the past, but I'm wondering WHY the semi-finalists don't all get to compete in swimsuit AS WELL AS evening gown?? (We know they don't even have to do interview anymore, sad to say)
But it seems bizarre to make the cut right after the swimsuit competition....why not wait and do it after evening gown? I just don't get it, unless, in keeping with the new way the pageant is, it's JUST all about beauty, no more no less. I wish to God the Trump people/Miss Universe staff would read what the viewers think! These pageants have gone so far downhill.....they need to take out some of the "entertainment" and devote that time to more of the pageant----we wait all year (at least I do!) for it, and hardly get to see or know any of the girls........

The music was infintile. It may have been from "High School Musical" but that is targeted to pre-teens and younger.
Someone next year needs to get it together and possibly with the input of former winners of TUSA. I hope someone forwards this to Mr. Trump and his staff. I sure miss the old musical numbers for the Miss USA swimsuit and Miss Universe "you are my star" with the little sisters (maybe not for the MTUSA) but the music has been crappy and distracting recently.
