 before competition. Normally the parents will make a vacation out of the trip depending on the location. Summer national pageants are so much fun, the sad thing is the girls will not experience the two week stay, the trips, the gifts (I'm sure they will receive gift bags) that go along with their two week stay and the friendships. The beauty of it all is the parents will more than likely be in the same hotel as the girls, and the parents can bond by the pool. Good luck teens
