hex editer will chang the program to do things that that it was not ment to do ,,,
eg....change the coverage of a raidio..i see that this is what you want to do,i have a program that will do this for you ,but rember if the raido was made for another contry ,it will prob loos pformance when tuned to outher frequncys[if you know what you are doing]...allways make a backup before you do any thing

what you need to do is edit the frequncy coverage and type..i can not help any ferther on your raidio as i have not got one, i use kenwood.,pip5 if you want the program, then let me know
