Hi Pat, thank you for posting such an inspiring and yet familiar message; my mother also was very reluctant to leave Regent Park, if it wasnt for the fack that she no longer had kid's at home, she would still be there today. I too never understood why she wanted to stay during the transitional 80's and 90's. My mother ended up moving to south pape and danforth complex. She misses walking up to parliament street and doing the shopping (damn she would walk so slowwwwww), as a kid it use to piss me of, buy today I know understand.
