I remember my teenage sister, Bernadette, taking me to the Gay Theatre with her friends to see "Beach Blanket Bingo". It was a big deal to a little kid - I still love the Beach movies to this day. I remember my Mom worrying about us because we were late getting home - we had stayed to watch the movie over and over again - in those days you could stay for the next showing on one ticket.
