Burying the show on friday at 9:30 didn't help as it was more like a 7:00 show. Plus, Hope & Faith didn't do much better in the ratings and it got picked up. Reba and What I like About You had lower ratings and they both got picked up on the WB. ABC just wanted to get into Reality TV more, as I know that's where the ratings are. I still think LWB could do a couple more years on another station. Plus, when a new regime takes over they like to get rid of the old shows and put there own in.... egos.

No, they didn't tell the cast anything, I guess they figured no news is good news. And, I don't know if they cancelled other shows at the last minute.
