Subject: Cotton vs. Nylon

I've noticed lately that most stores seem to offer more cotton panties than nylon. So many places, K-Mart, WalMart, Sears, Macy's, Nordstrom, et.al. really push cotton and not just in the warmer climes or months. Nylon is my preference, but in the warmer weather I do opt for cotton for comfort. What's the general consensus? Do most people prefer cotton? Just curious.
