Subject: On Portraying Wednesday

Today, I'd like to showcase our favorite little eyesore, Wednesday Friday Addams, in a unique way. It seems to be some sort of unwritten rule that if you play Wednesday, you're required to grow up hot.
I submit for your consideration, the cute and lovable little girls who have played Wednesday in the past, and the cute and lovable vixens they've since become:

#1 Lisa Ann (DeCinces) Loring, born February 16, 1958:

First in line, and first in our hearts. She set the standard for Wednesday's 3-D look for generations to come. She was cute as a bat's ear then.

And cute as any vamp later.

#2 Cindy Henderson was Wednesday's voice in her guest appearance in Scooby Doo and the subsequent Hanna Barbara spin-off. I was unable to unearth anything of use about, despite her having made cameo appearances all over the TV in her hayday. She appeared in Barnaby Jones, Bewitched, Mannix, Police Story, Shazam!, The Brady Bunch, The Odd Couple, and The Partridge Family, but apparently only once in each, usually as scenery or an extra, so I can't prove whether she fits the pattern or not.

#3 Christina Ricci, born: February 12, 1980:

What can I say that hasn't been? Little miss Ricci took the character in a different direction, switching from protagonist at best and scenery at worst to a nasty, sadistic little imp who was as close to sexy as a little girl can get. Given that she's only three years younger than me, I was smitten immediately, and her show-stealing performance in the sequil was the coup de grace.

I was hopelessly in love with the character long before the movie was over. That was only the beginning.

#4 Debi Derryberry took over the role in 1992 with the new animated series.

I can't exactly say she's my type, but I can't say she isn't gorgeous, either.

#5 That brings us to the latest in the legacy: Nicole Fugere, born September 25, 1986.

Once a member of this very message board. I fondly remember that one time Itt set up a chat with her. Ah, good times. But what ever became of her?

Oh... a couple things.
