I always love your sparse yet emotional 'Michael and Nikita' writing, and this was no exception. I could see and hear it unfolding in my head, which is always a very good sign. *g*

I didn't used to think that we'd be looking for revenge, but I didn't used to think we'd make an operative marry an innocent and have a child, just to get at her father. I'm almost used to the kind of things they do to us, but I still get sick thinking of what we do to real people.
