Though Michael was dashing
He showed her no passion
But she wouldn't let that defeat her

Nikita found him fulfilling

But Michael said "No, no, let's wait"
Before long she had grown quite impatient
She wanted a one-night vacation
"Be patient" he said
And played games with her head
And then clammed up just like a crustacean
But their secret they just couldn't hide
And Maddie took Nikita aside
"Give him up" she was warned
But inside she still mourned
They induced so she no longer cried
Michael again saved the day
When he whisked Nikita away
Though she later betrayed him
She also then gave him
The chance to get far, far away
But true love couldn't keep them apart
She had wormed her way into his heart
Though he tried to forget
He came back just to let
Them try to have one more fresh start
Though detractors no longer surrounded
They knew that their dreams were unfounded
Michael left yet again
To return...who knows when?
