Subject: Bruno's going downhill

My last post below said that I'm in a fighting mood and I'll tell you why: Bruno is getting old and I hate it. He's going to be 8 years old on July 31st. In the past year, he's lost his best buddy (year ago last May), his eye sight is losing clarity, he's lost half of his size (which actually is a Good Thing in the grande scheme of things), and now he's having troubles walking with his hind end.

I've been watching this for the past few months. Gary just noticed his difficulty walking last night. He got up from his nap, looked a little disoriented, shook his head and then started walking toward the steps for bedtime. As he was walking, he either didn't want to, or couldn't, put weight on one of his back legs, and looked like he was teetering.

If he were human, I'd say it was time for a walker. As it is, I'm contemplating my options to help him out....Gary - will you send me a link for Zach's wheelchair? It's one of the options I'm contemplating....
