Subject: Coming up for air...diving back down again....

So I'm taking my midterms on Saturday for Business Statistics (Quant), and Human Resource Management. I hate math that isn't laid out in a nice straight line for you. Have I ever mentioned that before? It's horrible! *sigh*

In the meantime, Bruno was up half the night shaking his head. We turned on the light around midnight to discover he's got a full-blown raging ear infection. One vet trip later, we're armed with something called "Zymox" which is basically hydrocortisone. It's still red and a bit inflamed, but he's not shaking his head any more and was caught taking one of Dot's toys away from her (kill the squeaky!) and playing with it - rolling over top of it and tossing it into the wall...and then looking sheepish about losing it again.

Dot? She's become very needy and it's driving Gary nuts. I know why - Mom isn't home enough! Poor baby. I'm spending as much time with her and playing with her as I can, but it's not as much as she's used to and I'm afraid she thinks I've abandoned her since she only gets to play with me two nights out of the week now instead of every night. Gary tries to love up to her more too, but she sleeps practically on top of me at night and absolutely MUST be touching me when I'm home.

I took them both for a walk the other day and by the time we got back they were absolutely exhausted, but they had a lot of fun. We got back just in time, too - it started pouring outside 30 seconds after we walked through the door! But it helped and it was time spent with both of them.

One more year and I'm done. I swear it! One more year!!!!
