[ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 09:38:50 07/17/10 Sat When I walked into the lobby at the resort I wanted to go home form there an angel led me to the orientation room for luch and I felt even more like I was in the wrong place as though I didn't fit in. I cried to my husband to change my flight I'd be home in 8 hrs. Corretta came and joined my table of ladies for lunch and she noticed I was not enjoying myself. Some how (still figuring out how she managed this one) got me to spill the beans on how I was feeling and all the ladies and staff encouraged me to stay. WOW! I reflect back and think uhm really you were around the worlds most pos. influences and in one of the most beautiful places in our country and you wanted to leave? hmmm OKAY?! lol I know I was afraid b/c I had taken a risk a HUGE risk with $10 in a bank acount, $200 in my pocket and the dream of finding who I really am in my heart. I learned while going through "Nothing To Something" who I really am. I am a model and accountant. I found my bilogical father aprox 3 wks before my competion and I came home able to tell him about the real Anna-Marie. Nothing is stopping me and I'm no longer going to be afraid of somthing not working out. If you don't take a risk you'll never know! The staff of Mrs.Globe found out that I'd be hanging out for about 16 hrs in the PS airport until my flight left and they refused to let me they invited me to have dinner with them if I had not already made plans and let me stay in one of the rooms that someone had left early out of. This amazing group of people are my new family. They treated me just like a neice and care as if I was too! I thank each and everyone of you who helped me explore my life the good and the bad to find that I'm more than a screw up. My passions in life DO count and those "spitting" on my dreams WILL be cleaning it up not me. I invite you to listent to a song "I'm Not Afraid" by Emenem; my husband handed me this cd titled recovery when I landed back home. So ladies I'm not afraid to take a stand, come take my hand and we'll walk this road together through the storm what ever weather cold or warm just letting you know you're not alone holla if you feel like you've been down the same road.
