Subject: There will always be someone who will say negative things about anything in this world. I suggest you get to know the basis of the pageant. I have been a title holder two times and very proud to represent Globe and my State ( South Carolina) If you look deeper into this pageant you will find much more than beautiful women and a crown- you will find WIN. And truly, everyone can WIN. Money was not only tight it was not there period. I can to this pageant in need of hope, because I was plain out of it on my own. My marriage was in major trouble. I was not in a good way in life. I closed my eye and just did it. This was a lifesaving choice. Believe it or not the money came. The clothes came. The shoes came. I did it. I trusted my heart and head an I did it. Crystal I cannot stress enough that it was lifesaving. I found my purpose. My marriage works now. If you compete we Globette will make it our duty to help you anyway we can. I know it can be scary to trust strangers. But I am not asking you to trust us. I am asking you to trust yourself. There is something here and you know it. And you want to know more.
