Subject: Oh my goodness Lea. Im not the original poster but that makes me so happy to hear you say that! I am 22 married for 3 going on four years and am so nervous about trying Globe. I figured everyone would be way older than me and think I was some crown chaser or something that didnt care at all about the seriousness of the title. Anyway sorry to ramble I just wanted to say you made me feel alot better and I am definetly thinking about giving Globe a try sooner than later. :)

In reply to: hopefull Mrs. 's message, "Which system do you think is more accepting of younger delegates winning. I am 29 married for 1 year, working with my platform for 8 years and really want to compete. Intl seems like a great system but I am not sure if I would win my state pageant at my age. It seems like our state winners are all mid-late 30's and married for 15+ years with older children or no children. Any advice would be great. I did compete in the Miss pageant in 1997 and loved the experience and as a survivor of domestic violence I love the WIN message. Thanks!" on 11:03:32 09/12/08 Fri

Thank you. I am the original poster and have always been about platforms. I have competed in other state/international pageants and been told that my age and time married is an issue... thank you. (NT)Mrs14:19:43 09/15/08 Mon
