Greetings Everyone!
I thought I would take a moment and post some exciting updates at the WIN International (USA) and bring you all up to speed on what is happening on our exciting Mrs. Globe and WIN front.
WIN RESTORATION CENTER'S NEW HOME - LITERALLY!!
As many of you know, to have an actual WIN Restoration Center / Home has been a dream of mine for years. This past month we moved into our new home. Our WIN Classes are taking place every Tuesday night with the numbers increasing since the beginning of the year. Some exciting news, as of today, we have furnished our first WIN transition room!! We are proud to say that the room only cost us around $600 to furnish. Thanks to Board Member Harry Berkowitz, who did a partial remodel on the home a few months back, the walls, carpet and bathrooms are all new as well. The room is furnished with a queen size bed, a small desk, a closet. The room will serve as a transition room for a woman for a 30, 60, 90 day period.

PROJECT SORORITY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM DIRECTOR NAMED: Kristin Sollenne, who originally joined us an intern after she saw the Raise presentation has been promoted to the Program Development Coordinator for our 2008 WIN program, "Project Sorority Empowerment". P.S.E. is our college age outreach that includes 5 programs geared toward empowerment for college age women. We have a launch date of February 1, for this national project. (for more on P.S.E. see the WIN website at www.womeninspiration.net/sorority.htm)
Kristin will be directly in charge of program development (of course under the guidance of both Monica) and I, both with Project Sorority with a specific emphasis on Raise Your Standards. In communicating with Coors this past week, the evaluation for continued funding for Raise will be determined by the number of Raise outreaches delivered in 2008. As you know, Coors likes to offer scholarships for delegates who present Raise! We have developed a P.O.A. (Plan of Action) which will allow us up to 150 campuses for 2008. So Alumni and delegates WE NEED YOU! For more on this project, contact Kristin at kdsollenne@fea.net to connect. Congrats to Kristin!

CONTESTANT COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR NAMED
Board Member, Laura Slifer will be taking over the Contestant Communications. You will begin receiving weekly communications about the happenings at Mrs. Globe every Friday. Congrats Laura!
