Hepatitis C has become the number one public health issue for every person who works in the field. One the one hand, we are bombarded with questions and information from sources with an interest in the policies we make, and on the other there is little opportunity to have knowledgeable discussion with those who have information we need and can use or with those who have made good decision or who face serious issues in their communities.
I have established this message board so that we can begin to share strategies, information, social science research and interact as professionals in communities across America and beyone.
To my knowledge this is the first board of its kind. We will do what we can to make it available, to provide resources for furthering discussion, and to publicize this board so that others can offer their knowledge and experience and join in this discussion.
There are many patient information and support sites availalbe to share the patient experience. This is not what this board is intended for, however, patients are always welcome to add to the discussion.
Please go to our website at www.hcop.org There is informaiton on transplant (liver), internet links to sites (please let us know about yours!), and a description of who we are and how we came to be.
Thank you for joining in!

Executive Director
