Subject: This would not be the first time that a pageant system had to re fund money to contestants. A few years back the Ms American United States pageant system went out of business due to the fact that they got rigging the system. One of the judges was the one to blow the cover on that story.(click in)

In reply to: Extremely upset and terribly discouraged 's message, "Where is Dave Dausey when you need him? With all his girls winning and placing the last two years, it seems he has something to do with the fixing." on 09/23/05 4:24:28am

Many of the girls sued and won the entry fee and some of them even got expenses for the pageant back. After many years in the pageant industry it happens all the time. I know from first and the Dave had never ran a up and up pageant. He just wanted the money and that was it. He opened his mouth so many times in front of people he did not know was friends of my family about different things that happened in the Miss UP pageant a few years ago. I hope over all that the Miss Michigan USA system can get back on the right hand of things so that we are not looking like some of the states that only have 10-20 contestants each year. This is to be a fun and growing experience for all and it does not seam like Miss Michigan USA is fun anymore.
