well your not alone in your frustrations. I know at least 9 classroom assistants and they all feel the same. We have been called all sorts, one of the worst was at the teachers staff meeting and the p5. teacher said we were nothin but a load of freeloaders! We used to be left on our own with the class but not anymore. Weve had the union in and they are havin talks with the principal over the summer. We made the mistake of not stickin to our job description and ended up doin our jobs and the teachers. Im in my 8th year in p1/2 and thinkin of trainin for somethin else.
