Hi, my daughter does the same (she is also dyslexic). There is a good book called Toe by Toe (a highly structured multi-sensory reading manual) by Keda and Harry Cowling which I have bought for both my children. It costs approx £22.00 and the child's progress is recorded on a daily basis (20 minutes per day)- "...many of Toe by Toe's sentences are deliberately contrived in order that a student will build a word rather than guess it...". It works on the basis of letter sounds and blends and my daughters not only enjoy the exercise but are showing signs of improvement.
