 I am assuming Claire that you are at the High School not Primary School. You seem to have done everything possible to persuade the pupil to attend. Have you spoken with his Guidence Teacher, or Special Needs Teacher, or Head of Year to ask their advice? You probably have. Definitely do not run round after him to the detriment of the other pupils or yourself. At this stage, he has to learn that if he wants help, he has to help himself by getting to the lesson. That's life. It could be that one day he will realise this and take steps himself to get the help he needs, until then, there is not much more you can do. Good luck.
