Hi I would like to offer some advice that I hope will be helpful to you. First things first. It seems to me that this child has been allowed to "rule the roost" with her parents and that that may be part of the problem you are facing. Secondly, she may be reaching out as, she would rather get some attention even with negative behavior then none at all, which I think is indicated with the amount of time you are spending with this child. I don't know if you have ever tried a consistant, possitive approach of holding the childs arms down to her side (gently of course) and making sure that she is looking into your eyes as you explain that her behavior is unacceptable. If you consistantly follow this rule, and inforce some time out, five minutes or so, you may save yourself an undue amount of stress. I hope that this helps.
