Hi all. I am a School Business Manager in a primary school. TAs and LSAs are usually paid term time only i.e. 39 weeks, plus holiday entitlement which brings the total weeks paid to 43.1. This is then paid pro-rata i.e. taking into account the number of hours worked per week and the number of weeks per year (43.1 to start).
A good trick is to divide the full time equivalent pay for your grade by 1929 and that will give you an hourly rate for your job! (you can then multiply the number of hours you do by that figure).
