 This is common in private schools. Sometimes the coach is dressed only in tight gym shorts to further accentuate the boys humiliation. The boy is made to feel less manly than the coach or other boys. The boy is often made to stand with hands on desk bent over legs spread, so his scrotum shows between his legs. The other boys gather to watch the paddling.
a paddle, a belt or a rod of some sort might be used.
sometimes the coach will give the boy's testicles a few whacks as well...for re-enforcement.
