If the coach is a good coach, he knows that boys often get unwanted erections..especially if thirty boys are packed naked in a very small shower room. A boy's genitals are constantly being rubbed against the body of another naked boy. One way t reduce any sexual tension in this situation is to have the boys soap and wash each other. That way, they get used to other bodies. It also gets rid of the stigma of getting an erection...as all boys get them.
