Yes the leather strap was certainly painful when applied to my inner thighs. Though my mother never gave me more than a maximum of three strokes on each thigh. It was a small strap always kept rolled in her hand bag. In some ways because it was swift, though painful was less humiliating than the longer leg smacking with my mothers hand.

Though I can remember a couple of humiliating situations. One at my mothers coffee morning. I was in a tiny kilt and rumba panties. I was acting as the waiter or as one of my mothers friends kindly put it the waitress. I spilt some milk. My mother instantly lifted up my kilt in full view of her friends and applied her strap across my panties and revealed buttocks. I got six of seven cracks with the strap.

Another time I was out with my mother around the park. I was wearing for me slightly more normal shorts, all be it tight velvet hot pants. I was 14 I think. She was allowing me to play on the swings. I committed some naughtiness that I cannot even remember. Howver she decided I needed my bottom spanked. So she sat on a seat undid my shorts and took them down I then had to lay on her lap allowing her to strap my proffered buttocks. It was all over in a few minutes, but the humiliation outlived the pain by a country mile.
