 I am a male in my forties. To this day I still feel shame at how I was subjected to nappy discipline as a teenager by my adoptive mother. Bare bottomed, over her knee spankings were a regular happening and always followed by cornertime. But it was the nappy discipline I feared most. Thick toweling nappies and plastic pants worn with a pink cotton smock top that buttoned at the back and so short it barely reached my waist. I suppose I should be thankful I was never made to mess the nappy or made to have an enema but I was expected to wet then present myself to be checked and changed. For outings I was squeezed into dark blue velvet bibbed front shorts which did nothing to disguise the bulky padding underneath. The slightest sign of disobedience from me brought several sharp slaps across the back of my thighs.
