I like that video. It's funny toward the end. When Steve Perry's pouring his heart out over coffee, and the guys from the band are sitting around the table. One by one, they get up and leave. He looks at them like "What the . . . ." Some friends! He looks so sad I want to come through the screen, and give him a big hug & kiss.

I Am Theresa Poling From Wichita Kansas USA and I as a big Journey Fan do miss your Singing. I know your other Fans Miss you also and Want to hear you sing Again. I wish I could watch you on You Tube and Feel like I am in one of your Old Journey Videos Belting it out with you. I have one Journey CD and it's The Greatest Hits Cd. I just thank God FOR YOU Every day and Night. When I go to work and go into my Breakroom where I clock into go to work at and hear a old Journey Song it just makes my Day. I have had for the last few weeks or so have had Journey songs playing in my Head and It's just Amazing how that happend. your Greatest Hits DVD of 1978-1997 is one of my favorite pieces of music that movtivates me when i'm down or so depressed. i'm a 61 yr. Just a couple more days and cd players will be getting a new workout to Steve's 'the very best of' cd. Could this be a prelude to what's new to come? Crossing fingers! 11 more days until 'Happy sexy nice Birthday Steve!!!!' I hope Steve has the sexiest nicest birthday this year. He will always be hot! I've seen him perform 3 times (2 Journey and 1 ftlosm) Each time I wanted to chase him around the stage some more. Come on back Steve, I might be able to finally catch you! running and wii fit baby lol. for the record, per say, FTLOSM concert kicked the Journey concerts ASS! Steve was marvelous, fun and he looked like he was just having a blast at his pace. It was just awesome. I hated to see the night end. The Journey concerts deafened me (huh?) Steve makes a point to look out into every audience, lights on them. I believe that FTLOSM, he really got to see them! it was great. Happy Sexy nice birthday Steve, it's time to rock and roll!!!

I want to thank those for the making of this Greatest Hits DVD. It was truly amazing to look back at glimpses of Journeys career starting with Greg Rollie and Steve Perry. The only thing that was disappointing about this DVD is that it was only 74 minutes long and it was recorded on a 120 minute DVD. I wished you could have filled the entire disk with more fabulous songs because I know there's a lot more video stuff on Journey. Nonetheless, I love the fact that I now have it to add to my small collection of Journey video stuff.

I can't wait for the new release of the Houston, Texas concert on DVD coming out soon. And I hope it's the whole 90 minute concert version and not the shorter one hour one. I also understand that there might be a Raised on Radio concert on DVD soon too. All I can say is, "Here's my money, give me that DVD ;-)..

What I can't understand is why there was never any concert video stuff released of Journey througout their whole career. Just think of the money they could have made from the all sales of their concerts caught on video. The only thing that's out there to be bought, that I know of, is this DVD, Journey 2001 with Steve Augeri and, if you can still find it on VHS, Journey Frontiers and Beyond (a documentary 1983). I really wished that I had recorded all of Journeys videos ever made on MTV. I truly miss seeing them

The only other stuff out the to be had is mostly bootleg video's shot by amateurs. Some of them are good and others are horrible. The only professionally shot stuff that I currently own is the 1981 Tokyo Japan concert and the 1981 Houston Texas Concert, sponsored by MTV (short version), you know, the one that isn't out yet :-)

My grandest wishes before I die?
1. All of Journeys' MTV video's and Steve Perry singles like "Oh Sherri" on a one, two or however many DVD disc set. MY money is already waiting to be spent on this release. Name your price :)

2. All of your professionally shot video concerts throughout Journey/Steve Perrys' career released on separate DVD's. One for each concert. My money is already waiting to be spent on all these DVD's when they are released. Name your price :) Please take my money so that I can relive the sheer pleasure and memeories of this phenominal rock group.

3. The directors cut (90 minutes) of VH1's "Behind the Music" with Journey (I know it's out there).

I can't understand how such a rare talented group like Journey and the amazing voice of Steve Perry has, for the most part, never been offered, recorded at concerts or sold on VHS or DVD. Why? He is not only a pleasure to hear but also, according to my wife, pleasing on the eyes. For me, his is full of tremendous energy, intense emotion and an absolute pleasure to watch as he moves around the stage.

I saw Journey's last concerts in Hawaii in September 1983 at the Blaisdale's theatre just before they abruptly broke up. He did 5 concerts there in one week. I saw the first and third concerts. Now I've been to a lot of concerts but Journey was, BY FAR, the best I've ever seen, period. I sure got my moneys worth, and then some. And it wasn't just Steve Perry.

The whole band was top notch at what they did, in my opinion. Neal Schon, Jon Cain, Steve (machine gun) Smith and Ross Valorie. With the exception of Ross Valorie on bass, the rest of the band was so talented that each could and did do a solo performance while on stage. Truly amazing. Name any other band that could do that. I can't think of any.

Well enough from me, I guess. Oh, one message to Steve Perry. Please climb back in the saddle just one more time. Do it while you can. You and me are getting old. You 55 and me almost 48. I'm sure you still have it in you. I saw your performaces with the new band back in 1994. You were spectacular. There's no reason for you not to. Hold you head high once again. Remember what your mom said. "Journey". Go back to Journey. Your mom must have been an amazing person. I've real a lot about you so I think I know what's in your head. I think if you and Journey were managed properly, you'd still be together. That's my true feeling on what happened to Journey and you.

I just want to say that I have been a Steve Perry fan for 22 years. I first heard his voice when I was 12 years old. I still get excited every time I hear him sing. I have two daughters ages 9 and 11. Ever since they first heard him sing they listen to him all the time. The songs he sings, has never gotten old. I think everyone who is a fan of Steve, needs to own a copy of Escape/Live in Houston Concert CD/DVD. It is really awesome. The DVD of Journeys Greatest Hits and The essential is great also.

Excellent, Magnificent & best money ever spent! Hi my name is Carolina I am 34yrs old. When I first saw Journey it was on MTV, I was 9yrs old & well I thought that was beautiful music I was hearing & seeing a gorgeous angel appear b4 me! I have been in love with Mr.Steve Perry & his voice since then but was crushed when he sung Oh, sherrie cause it was made known that she was his real life girlfriend so my heart was broken. Ofcourse I was a child then I didn't know no better... Well my hear it is still broken due to the fact that I never went to see any concerts or owned any cassettes (video or audio) of this wonderfull man & band. I now am a mother of 4 beautiful girls who went shopping with me and saw a tear run down my face when I saw the DVD that they bought it for me so long story short I can say LOUD & PROUDLY that Mr. Steve Perry I own a part of you & my 4 girls whom range in age from (9-17) are your newest fans & may I add have been hogging the dvd they watch it b4 going off to school, when they get home from school up untill bedtime & all weekend long. So in conclusion I'd like to say keep those dvd's coming they have now asked me to fill them in on the 80's from my point of view. So I say "you had to be there to really respect & appreciate real music". The memories remain always & forever!

Steve Perry and Journey have always been my favorite artist/music group. My two boys know this, and for a surprise, bought me, out of the blue, the Journey DVD. I just loved it - brought back memories to this 40ish, 80's girl. My younger son just loves it too and will sit with me and sing along to the whole DVD. Steve Perry, please get back with Journey soon. Journey is performing in Tampa in the next month or so and I would love to go if "only" Steve Perry is the lead!!!! P.S. As I sit & remember all of the times that you have made us smile & cry. I still can't believe your really gone,but your voice lives on in my soul,& heart. I Can Never get enough of any of your cd's All of which i have. The new Journey is good,& I attend so that I can reminence of the past,(dam,I need a life.)but I believe there is only one man that can fill the shoes of Journey Front Man,& that is only Steve Perry. Ever since you made your appearence on the Walk Of Fame, I have been so enthraulled in trying to read anything that i can get my hands on about Steve. Its been way too long,since we have heard anything about you. I enjoyed all that i read when you gave your interview to Fan Alysium. Just wish we could get more. I am from Mexico and my english is not good,but i like very much the news of Steve Perry.

For 21 years that I listen to Journey's songs with Steve as vocalist remain fasinado with the power of his your voice and with the interpretation that it he does. That shaft, the date for my is the best singer who exists.

Taste gives me very much that continue working, since Steve is an icon of the decade of them 80's and for the grand thing that is he. it he must not get lost in the time but he(it) evolves since as want it but without his fans forget us.

This new DVD is a great idea since I possess(rely on) this video that consegui in them 80's in format vhs but in DVD and remasterizado is something grand and especially that it is the disc one of the best ESCAPES. Also serious good that were throwing something similar for the disc RAISED on RADIOI since for my this disc it is the number 1 of all.

Steve continues as that in Mexico you have many fans that you apresiamos very much thank you for everything.

Desde hace 21 a�os que escuche las canciones de Journey con Steve como vocalista me quede fasinado con la potencia de su voz y con la interpretaci�n que el hace. Que asta la fecha para mi es el mejor cantante que hay.

Me da mucho gusto que continue trabajando, ya que Steve es un icono de la decada de los 80�s y por lo grandioso que es �l no debe perderse en el tiempo sino que evolucione como el lo quiera pero sin olvidarse de nosotros sus fans.

Este nuevo DVD es una gran idea ya que yo cuento con este video que lo consegui en los 80�s en formato vhs pero en DVD y remasterizado es algo grandioso y sobre todo que es el disco ESCAPE uno de los mejores. Tambien seria bueno que lanzaran algo parecido para el disco RAISED on RADIO
ya que para mi este disco es el n�mero 1 de todos.

Steve continua por que en Mexico tienes muchos fans que te apresiamos mucho gracias por todo.
