It's both different, and very good, and sweet.

I always get a little excited when I read a story that is being told from a different perspective. One from the 'outside', (I even wrote one once upon a time, of my own :P).

It's not something you see a lot in LGBT fiction. I'm glad that's the case. I want most LGBT stories to be told from a LGBT person's perspective, it makes those that aren't all the more interesting ones to read.

And I especially like this one because there's some internal conflict going on, from the father. But he's by and large supporting his son, as any good father would.
