I've taken...STOLEN...from the sleeping and the weak. The unaware, and the gullible. I've taken the possessions they've brought with them into darkness, and made profit off of their value.

Sometimes, off of just a fraction of their value.

In my nights, I have strategized and plotted against my brothers and sisters in darkness. Ripping their priceless memories from their clutches, and selling them to the highest bidder. It has been a shameful life, but a profitable one. As a vampire raider, I expect to be hated by many. But my team and I provide a service, no different from any other that I remember in the days when I used to walk across this land with the sun shining on my face.

And now?

Now I have been given an opportunity. Made an offer. Raid one vault...the highly protected vault of an Elder...and gather enough riches to finally put this pick pocket, day to day, bullshit behind me once and for all. One more big take, for me and my team of thieves...to finally get all we need, and live the rest of our immortal lives in peace. This Mr. Octavio drives a hard bargain, and offers a nice reward. All he wants in return is some musty old book that, as far as I am concerned, doesn't even exist. It's not a job that we can afford to turn down.

Tonight I bring back the information I was given, and the plan that we must follow in order to pull this off. I write this here to wish us luck. Because we never know when things may go wrong. We never know when our time is up.

I can only hope that this Mr. Octavio is on the up and up. Because if he isn't...we're dead before we even begin.
