your descriptions are exquisite, but almost, and i say almost overbearing. it brightens the story up, so don't change a thing.
your plot, from what you've written, is good, good enough to end in a cliffie at that.
while its tough to comment on such a tease, i would love to read some more. hint*hint*
you say that writing isn't your forte, but dabble in it all you want, if this is your worst, lets see it improve. LOL
if you did this awhile back, your mind will only improve on it.
