My new short story, The Day the Tables Turned, is ALMOST COMPLETE! All it needs is a good old fashioned spelling/grammar/usage editing and it is good to go! Is it going here though? Sillly wabbit! It goes on my website first! The Authors' Keep! DUH! hehe.... anyway.... since many of you (possibly all lol) have forgotten, I'm going to go ahead and post the teaser here, in hopes of getting you all re-inerested in reading this story, all about Bullying and two young men's struggles to find their place in their world. So, here it is, the teaser:
When Fenton, a scrawny fourteen year old who had been bullied for the past two years of grade school, is at the end of his rope, he makes a wish to have a chance to be the one with the upper hand for once. He didn't understand the power of his wish, nor the danger that could come of it.
When he gets his chance at being the Alpha Male, he finds himself falling prey to the same temptations as his abusers, taking things to a level even he thought he'd never reach. Though his intentions were not evil in nature, he wasn't sure just how far he'd let things go The Day the Tables Turned.
This story WILL be posted by New Years! I waited too long to get it up b4 Xmas, so I doubt my editor will have the time for it till probably shortly after xmas... but, come hell or high water, this story will be up by the end of the year! Look for it very soon!
