I should have read the whole thing before posting, but I guess my ADD got the better of me. That and posting when I should have been in bed.
What I had meant to say is that taking scenes from tv, movies, books or other copyrighted sources without giving recognition that you weren't the original author of it could land you in trouble. The story is good, but I'd hate to see it brought down because you didn't give credit where credit is due or get permission to use copyrighted materials.
