This chapter seems to have a kind of mellow glow around it -- it's almost poetry! Learning to fully appreciate the best things in life can be a rewarding, if not painful revelation! Billy and Brandon are definitely growing up, and it's touching to see them rediscovering the true value of their relationship. But in reading this chapter, I'm reminded of a great line you wrote in Save or Sacrifice: "The second chance is even more fragile than the first!" I really love that line, and I hope Billy and Brandon don't blow it. Sometimes I wish I had met either one of them when I was in high school. My life might have turned out much differently -- but it would probably be like 100 times more complex, hahaha!
