Welcome!!!
I was born in Sepptember 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee. I was raised in the south by a very multi-cultural family. My mothers side of the family consists of individuals who are African American, Native American and West Indian. My fathers side of the family consists of individuals who are African American, Dutch/Irish, Dominican and Cuban. So if you know me, then you know where my cool, but sometimes fiesty demeanor comes from.
While growing up, I particiapted in just about every sport imaginable. If they offered it and I was eligible for it, I signed up for it!!! But my passions were cheerleading and dance...hey..growing up in the south, if you were female...you did one of two things growing up....either cheerleading or pageants. I focused on cheerleading!!! I started when I was 6 years old and went all the way up until I was 25. If there was a team that had an opening, I was there!!!
I started college in the summer of 1995 at Fisk University where I stayed until I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. I wanted to become a lawyer back then, but guess what....I'm not a lawyer. I moved up to Chicago as soon as I graduated. I guess you could say I wanted the big city life...but guess what again??? I want the easiness of the south, so I may be heading back there shortly!!!
In 1998, I was afforded an opportunity that thousands of women applied for, but only 250 women got....I was invited to audition for the Chicago Luvabulls Dance Team. If you don't know who they are...where have you been hiding yourself??? They are the NBA dance team for the Chicago Bulls. I didn't get past the first round, as I came up against some very stiff competition. Let's just say out of the 10 girls in my group...4 of them eventually made the squad!!! Plus, add the fact that I only prepared for it for a week and didn't know what to expect...so I went in there blind and got my butt kicked!! But, i came back stronger the next year!!!
In 1999, I was invited to audition again. Guess what happened???? Out of the 15 in my audition group...only the top 5 made it to the next round...guess what number I was...I was number 7...meaning if they took 7 out of the group...I would have went to the next round!!! But they didn't...so I went home..defeated...yet again!!! But hey...the party wasn't over..because shortly after that...a young lady who was sitting on the judges panel...also happens to recruit girls nationwide for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders....I got an invitation to audition for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!!! I couldn't believe it...I told everyone that I knew!!! Even though I had no intentions on actually going...because I had a family...and I didn't want to just uproot my family and move to Dallas without actually being on the team...and only invited to the auditions!!!

With my boutique that I just started on Ebay. I have only been doing that for about a month now and have turned a profit of $658.00 dollars with all positive feedback!!! Not one negative feedback has been left for me!!! Pretty good hunh???
