Sorry it took so long to answer, but I've been real busy lately.

First of all, I don't know where you live, so I don't have any idea of your climate, zone, or weather conditions. Did it have a name tag stating what variety it is? Are you going to keep it in a pot, or do you plan to plant it in the ground?

Basically, banana plants like it hot & sunny, lots of water, and planted in a rich, well drained organic soil.
