I have several bannana tree's in my yard. What you need to do is give it miracle grow'but make sure the dirt is already moist before using miracle grow,cause you might burn your plant.Any kind of potting soil is good,just be sure to fertilize it.I have one tree that's producing bannana's.I also have dwarf's.that I pot during the winter.I live in MISSOURI.GOOD LUCK,Letha Brock
