Yes, it would most definitely help to know where you're located. We would also be interested in what type you have. Some are more cold sensitive than others. In general, in the warmer deep south, you probably wouldn't need to do anything. Up a zone or two cooler, a heavy mulch would be needed. Moving up to the colder winter areas, you would either have to dig them to store dry, above 32*f, but below 50*f for the winter, or pot them if you have a large enough space that stays above 65 degrees f. for them, with lots of light.
