I remove the trunk with the root corm and wrap the complete plant in burlap. Then I store in a garage at about 50 degrees F. When things warm up outside, using a sharp knife or spade, seperate the pups close to the mother plant. Let the cuts heal for a week or two, then you can replant it & the pups.
