Yesterday was a great fall classic bodybuilding event in PA. It was well organized by Vince,Sid and Big Pete.I placed fourth in a tough pro lineup.What peeps ask me today going into next show? What are you going to change?I say nothing!!I came in dry,conditionedand displayed myself %100. Yes I did finish fourth.Bodybyilding is the most subjective sport out there. I would bet if we had five new judging panels we would have had three different first place winners.My point?To all the upcoming peeps dont think just because you didnt get #1 that it means you have to change everything you did for that event. I hear of guys wanting to take a year off to quote put on 30 pounds to get "bigger". Bottom line guys is that we are what we are ..natural athletes.We can only truley gain 5 pounds a year max after the age of 25.So dont get discouraged if you know deep down you gave %100 percent but the out come was not in your favor.
I will be back again in Baltimore to bump heads with the best.Train hard ,stay foucused and dont give up.

Here's the deal. I'm usually at the gym in the morning by 5am. I'm looking for the best pre-workout supplement to give me the energy I need to get through my workouts. I work out 5 days a week, I lift for an hour (heavy) and do low intensity cardio for 30 minutes 4 days a week. I'm not looking to add anymore muscle, I'm just looking to get a bit more cut. Any suggestions?

So I had to share this...
Finish my time on the stepmill tonight and decide to cool down with a little bike action and some TV. I check the usual food network because I know the food network challenge is on at 7 and I can catch the end of it... PASTRY competition, awesome stuff... but as always, commercials and so I change to check what's going on in the sporting world on ESPN... Low and behold they are doing some special on competitive food eating... AWESOME!!! Best time I've had on a rec. bike in a LONG time. Who else is bored and watching food network?

Ok so Steve P. won his pro card and we are mostly happy for him but Jesus H Christ. This was the worst thing to happen to this self absorbed pompus ass. He is telling people that now he is the only real bodybuilder in AFF and that he is gonna take out everyone in the pro ranks....etc....
Listen I know this guy has a right to be excited about his win. I know I would be if i was a competitor. But to say the things he is saying its just not a good portrayal of a classy athlete. Kim Potter won her card and still seems very humble and in fact has not really mentioned it out loud to anyone that I am aware of. Oh and have we all forgotten that the first Pro Natural Bodybuilder to truly work hard and remain humble still works out at AFF and is completely in a differant and superior league than Steve..... Thats right Do you guys remember Grizz. He did not have a great showing at his first show after many years of seconds and first. This poor showing has him refeuled and amped for the spring but you do not hear him putting himself above anyone else nor do you see him being and over the top pompus ass. Please someone explain the need for us to suffer this ongoing celebration parade that is about to take place for the next six months when steve walks into the gym.

Oct 25th - INBF NYS BodyBuilding & Figure Championships in Poughkeepsie, NY
&
Nov 8th - USBF Jr. Nationals - and we all know where that is at.
Anyone else doing either of these shows or doing any other shows this year? I'm thinkin I may end up in the middleweights... Looks to me like that's where I belong for the time being, still haven't dried up enough and have that little bit of BF to cut off. Hope everyone is doing well and to those of you not competing again for a while, eat a few more bites for me.

Mary Hackey from Vermont won the NYS women's bodybuilding .
Traci gamilin shocked everyone to win the NYS open figure.If you remember she was the bodybuilding overall last year.What a transformation.
Brandon "berg " Bergenn pulled out stops to squeak by Paul Viggiano. A 1 point decision in the overall. Paul was ridiculously shredded.The 23 "berg" was on spot condition with great balance carried him to nab the point.I would say Paul has got to be the favorite next week in Scranton.
The men's novice was won finally by Travis Light.Travis has ben doing NYS shows for the past year. We have all noticed the improvements he has made.
Women's pro figure....WOW My mind they both won.Fantastic

Great show last night. Kudos Mike, BP, the trophy women, all the judges and everyone that put so much into another successful show. It a lot of hard work and expense to have a competition of such caliber. Lets hear some thoughts on the show, I still a bit grain dead so give a shout out.

The first ever NYS Pro show will happen this weekend in Binghamton ,NY. The lineup is seven quality with maybe a few walk -ins.King Bierly headlines this show with his skin tight physique that has ben wrecking havoc on NPC shows. This will be the Kings first natural pr show since Baltimore in 2007.Rico Browning has swept the USBF stage this year. Will he dethrone the KING? Jessie Marines from Texas will make his pro debut. Joe Viteretti has shocked everyone this year my putting away some top pros at his last outing.Larry "rocket" Ray !This guy has never lost in the state of NY. he brings the fullest muscle belly's with a trade mark smile.Nam le "Mr Symetrical" making a return to the pro stage.Will Nam is said to be in the top form that got him his pro status.Then the new kid on the block.Last weeks winner has decided to accept the free entry and room stay. he will make his pro debut this weekend in this all star lineup.I think Mike Uzar is going to show.He never calls ..just shows.
